About the Products

Our slide-in campers are built with high-strength aluminum alloy frames, making them lightweight, durable, and resistant to rust and corrosion. The aluminum construction keeps the camper lighter than traditional fiberglass options, reducing strain on your vehicle. These campers are designed for long trips and rugged Australian conditions.


We offer two series with four models: Camper S (S1 for general-size utes, S2 for full-size utes) and Camper T (T1 for general-size utes, T2 for full-size utes). Both series are designed to fit most mainstream utes in Australia as we have measured and confirmed their compatibility.


Weight varies by model: Camper T series starts at 270kg, and Camper S series starts at 420kg. The lightweight design helps minimize impact on suspension and fuel efficiency.


Camper S offers a double/queeny-size bed, lithium battery system, solar panels, a 30L fridge, and air conditioning, comfortably sleeping 2 adults and 1-2 children. Camper T is a lightweight base version for custom setups.


We offer a wide range of camping gear including inflatable sofas and beds, foldable chairs, portable air conditioners, shower tents, grills and more. They are suitable for various camping and outdoor adventures.


Most of our inflatable products feature a built-in air pump and accessories. They are ready to use after charging. The quick inflation and deflation design makes them extremely convenient for outdoor use.


Our portable air conditioners can be used in tents, vehicles, inside campers, outdoor activities like fishing, or even a small room. They support multiple power options (12V/24V DC or 240V AC), making them perfect for off-grid adventures or powered campsites.


Our camping gear is made from durable materials, but we recommend cleaning and drying them thoroughly after each use. Inflatable products should be kept away from sharp objects, and folded carefully for storage. For portable air conditioners and other electronics, keep power connectors clean and check power connections before use to ensure optimal performance.

Our team will discuss your needs with you and recommend the most suitable camper model and configuration, then provide a personalized quote. Unfortunately, campers are not available for online orders at the moment.


You can easily order from our Online Store, or pop into our showrooms and check out the gear in store. We take different payment methods – credit cards, PayPal, and more.


Absolutely ! We deliver Australia-wide! Orders over $299 ship for free. For orders under $299, it’s a flat $25 for standard shipping, or $35 if you need express.

No modifications are required; the slide-in design fits standard tubs or tray-back platforms.


Yes, with adjustable support legs included. For first-time setup, two people are recommended. After that, one person is all good to set it up.


Yes, absolutely. Our campers are designed to be used independently when off the vehicle. Each camper comes with heavy-duty adjustable legs that let you safely lower and support it on the ground at your campsite or at home. This means you can drive your ute away for other errands while your camper remains set up as a comfy and secure base to sleep, cook, and relax in.


Yes, you can. With the roof closed, our campers are designed to sit low and compact, so you can access most standard car parks. The height is generally similar to the roofline of your ute, meaning most 2.1m clearance shopping centre or underground car parks won’t be an issue. However, if your ute has been lifted or modified, we recommend checking your total vehicle height before entering low-clearance areas to avoid any scrapes.


Most of our camping accessories are ready-to-use straight out of the box or only require a quick and simple set-up. For example, inflatable sofas and beds come with built-in pumps that make them easy to inflate after charging, while foldable chairs and tables can be opened in seconds. A few items, like side awnings, might need basic mounting, but we provide clear instructions to make it hassle-free.


After-Sales & Warranty

Campers include a 1-year general warranty and 3-year structural warranty; camping gear has a 1-year warranty.


For camping gear orders, you can request a cancellation within 24 hours of placing your order. However, as campers are custom-built to your specifications, cancellations are not accepted once the order is confirmed.


Yes, we offer a change of mind return and exchange policy. You can return or exchange your item within 30 days of delivery if it’s unused, in the same salable condition you received it, and in the original packaging. A 20% restocking fee applies to all returns or exchanges.

To initiate a return or exchange, please email your receipt or proof of purchase to info@onbackcampers.com.au, and provide the return shipping details (tracking number and courier information). You’re responsible for all shipping costs occurred for the returns or exchanges, and the original shipping fee is non-refundable.


If your item arrives damaged or faulty, please contact our support team as soon as you can with proof of purchase and evidence of the issue (such as photos or videos). We’ll arrange repair, exchange, or a refund depending on the situation. You won’t incur any additional costs if the issue is confirmed to be a quality defect. Refunds are processed within 3-10 business days, depending on your bank’s processing times.

Yes, we provide repair services for certain products (e.g. campers or inflatable gear), as well as DIY repair guides. Customers in QLD or VIC can bring items to our showrooms for assessment and repairs.

  • If the damage is not caused by user error and within warranty, repairs are free of charge.
  • If the damage is user-related or out of warranty, a repair fee may apply depending on the assessment.
